Survey 1 : Newcastle

Triple J regained the listeners lost in survey 3 to reclaim #3. In the 18-24 age group Hot 106.9 lost 15.3 with New FM gaining most of them up 11.6 whilst Triple M gained 6.3.

Survey 3 : Newcastle

There was little change from Survey 2 apart from Triple J losing 1.9. In Survey 3 they annually lose listeners in the 18-24 and 25-39 age groups.

Orange

Triple M has become #1 by gaining 8.6 whilst Hit 105.9 fell by 3.0. Triple M gained listeners in all age groups with ABC Central West losing 4.0 in 55-64 and 9.1 in 65+.

Survey 2 : Newcastle

The biggest change Year-on-Year is in the 10-17 age group. Hit 106.9 have lost 16.9 with gains for New FM (8.9), ABC Newcastle (4.1) and Triple M (3.0). Triple J gained 5.2 in the 18-24 age group becoming the #1 station. Hit 106.9 gained 5.5 in the 55-64 age group doubling their listeners, Triple M increased by 5.6 with a 15.8 reduction in other station listening.

Coffs Harbour

Triple M has regained #1 with Hit 105.5 losing 2.7. They are popular in all age groups and #1 in 40 and over age groups.

Non-local represent 40% of the most listened-to stations in Toowoomba/Warwick. Hit 100.7 dominate the local stations with a quarter of all listeners with 30% in drive and evening.

With the availability of Sunshine Coast stations they receive over 40% of listening. Zinc 96.1 peaks in 55-64 age group, Triple J in 25-39 and ABC Sunshine Coast in 65+.
